Welcome to ATG
Welcome to the Africa Trade Gateway (ATG). The ATG is a single window into African trade through which the need to facilitate finance, navigate, and extend across Africa’s single market to seize the huge market opportunity of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA for businesses, governments, investors, and others are all addressed. The ATG ENABLES a comprehensive trade/investment customer journey to discover and research African value chains; engage with trusted African counterparties; navigate African trade regulations; transact in African goods and services; fulfil transactions in local African currencies; instantly match and connect to freight/logistics providers to move goods anywhere in Africa; and connect to other value-add service providers.
The ATG provides a single access point to PAPSS, ATEX, MANSA, TRADAR Club and ATG Connect.
PAPSS
PAPSS offers a safe and efficient across the continent instant payments in local and foreign currencies on a Multilateral Net Basis on agreed settlement. It is compliant with the latest payment standards and is available 24/7.
ATEX
B2B/B2G supporting businesses through the entire trade process from verification through to execution-facilitating efficient trading to reduce the average trading costs based on AFCFTA rules and improve cross-border by matching verified buyers with verified suppliers, offering financing and payments and connecting traders to logistic providers.
TRADAR CLUB
Offers a one stop shop access to a holistic and integrated bundle of digitally enables trade, investment and market intelligence, strategic advisory services, and networking opportunities to a prestigious member-driven network of international businesses and executives to support their market expansion/entry decisions.
ATG Connect
Extension of the ATG, powering a suite of hub services connecting those seeking key services to providers e.g., those seeking finance with financiers; seeking investment with investors; freight with freight service providers; EPC contractors with tender and contract opportunities.
MANSA
MANSA is a repository platform which provides a single source of primary data required for the conduct of customer due diligence on African entities, Financial Institutions, Corporates and SMEs. The platform also provides complementary collection of information on investment in Africa, country profile and traded products/ services of African countries, enabling insights into Africa and deepening.
About EPC
To promote accessibility to information for African contractors around the available infrastructure project opportunities, available funding sources, and critical success factors influencing the selection of firms and successful bidding requirements across African countries.
Provide a centralized, readily accessible channel to share information from African Governments and large private infrastructure developers, and African EPC contractors.
Afreximbank has created a digital ecosystem called the African Trade Gateway (ATG). The ATG is expected to accelerate intra-African trade by eliminating or significantly reducing major bottlenecks to trade and financial flows within the continent. The ATG Connect Services is one of the platforms on ATG. It contains the Tenders module that connects EPC contractors to tenders and contracts as well as other service providers to business opportunities, creating value networks and stimulating network effects leading to business and customer success.
How to access the tenders module on the ATG platform
To access the tenders module, users will need to launch the ATG URL: https://www.atg.africa on a browser. The link will direct users to the home page of ATG.
Click on the Register button the top right. You will be redirected to a form where you can fill in your details:
After successfully entering your details, you will be directed to validate your email address. Check your email and enter the verification code.
After you have verified your email, you will be redirected to log in to the platform with your credentials.
Log in
Select “Log in” and Log in with your email and password.
After logging in, you will be asked to enter a validation code as part of the Two-Factor Authentication Security Settings. Check your email and enter the validation code.
After successfully logging in, select the role you want to do on the platform.
Select Register as a subscriber and click Proceed.
Select your account plan, whether you would like an individual plan or a business plan.
a. Business Plan: Enter the type of business, The name and Business number (registration or certificate number)
b. Individual Account plan. Select your category.
Click “Next Step”
Under the pricing options, select the “Free Basic Package” and it will be added to the cart. To finalize the subscription, click on Go to payment button.
You will be directed to select your method of payment. After you are done, click on Finish to complete the registration process
Congratulations! You have successfully registered to the ATG Single Access.
Click “Back to home” to navigate to ATG Dashboard
Subscribe to EPC
Log in to access your dashboard after successfully registering on the ATG single window platform. Click on become a subscriber under ATG Connect.
Complete the business subscription form and click “Next”
Complete the “contact and preferences” form and click “Next”
On the pricing page, check EPC Tenders and click “Next”. Please note that EPC is a free package on ATG.
Click “Complete”
You will get a notification that you have successfully subscribed to the platform.
How to view your subscriber dashboard
After successful sign-up on the ATG connect platform, subscribers will be able to view their dashboard. Below is a screenshot of the subscriber’s dashboard. Here they can see following: -
Package type (remaining subscription days)
Products and markets of interest
Subscription history etc.
How to view tenders
Follow the steps below to view tenders:
Step 1: Click on “Tenders” at the top of the screen
Step 2: Navigate to “Tenders opportunities”
Step 3: Click “Get Started”
You will be directed to the tender’s page as seen below:
Step 4: Scroll down the tenders page to view all listed tenders. Each of the listed tenders contains details such as: Company Name, Project Name, project Sector, Project Amount, currency, etc.
Step 5: Click on the company logo to view additional information on a tender.
You can view more details as seen in the image below.
How to contact companies about tenders.
Subscribers can make enquiries about a tender by contacting the users that posted the tender opportunities. You have the option of sending Emails, chats or meeting requests. The highlighted buttons in the image below can be used to contact other users.
How to send email messages
Follow the steps below to send emails regarding a tender.
Step 1: Click “Contact Now”
Step 2: Edit the email content if necessary
Step 3: Attach necessary documents.
Step 4: Click “Send Mail”.
You will receive a notification that the message has been sent successfully.
How to chat a business
Follow the steps below to chat a business contact regarding a tender.
Step 1: Click “Chat”
Step 2: Type in a message
Step 3: Click “Send”
How to schedule a meeting.
Follow the steps below to schedule a meeting regarding a Listed tender.
Step 1: Click “Request for meeting”
Step 2: Edit the email content if necessary
Step 3: Attach necessary documents
Step 4: Click “Send Mail”
You will receive a notification that the meeting request has been sent successfully.
How to Turn on the Alert System
The alert system is used to Get tailored tender notifications instantly. You can set your preferred country, sector, or institution type, and receive alerts when relevant tender requests match your pre-defined criteria.
Follow the steps below to set up Alerts:
Step 1: Toggle on the “Alert System”
Step 2: Select preferred Criteria
Step 3: Click “Save”
NB: You will get notifications whenever a tender containing one or more of the selected criteria is listed.
Step 4: Click on the notification bell icon to see the notification
How to post tenders’ feedback
Users can post complaints or feedback on a tender when the need arises. Follow the steps below to post complaints /feedback:
Step 1: Navigate to “Post Tenders Feedback”
Step 2: Click “Get started”
Step 3: On the feedback page, click “Add Tenders Feedback”
Step 4: Complete the feedback form
Step 5: Click “Submit’
The submitted feedback /complaint will be posted in the tenders feedback page as seen below:
NB: other users can comment on feedback and complaints.
How to create a new tender opportunity as a Subscriber
Follow the steps below to post contract request / post new tenders:
Step 1: Navigate to “Post Contract request”
Step 2: Click “Get Started”
Step 3: Complete the tender request form
Step 4: Click “submit”
NB: You wil get a notificaton that your tender was submitted successfully. All tender requests will be routed to the System Administrator for approval before they can be listed on the tenders page.
